Our inaugural event took place at the prestigious UFC APEX, featuring an exciting Quintet-style Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu tournament. Teams from the Army, Navy, Marines, and Air Force competed head-to-head in a display of skill, resilience, and teamwork.

Join us as we continue to strengthen the health and well-being of our service members through engaging competitions and community involvement. Together, we celebrate the spirit of unity and excellence!

Why Brazilian Jiu-jitsu and Veterans?

Veterans are committing suicide everyday (44 per day according to new studies conducted by the VA), and over 60% (1,218,857) of all separated OEF/OIF/OND Veterans have used the VA health care system since 2001. Brazilian Jiu-jitsu (BJJ) has been growing sustainably over the last decade because of the significant impact it has on a persons lifestyle.

We have seen BJJ help save the lives of Veterans and drastically turn their life around from being overly dependent on the VA prescribing endless amounts of drugs, to renewing their sense of purpose in life. We need your help to provide these men and women of the Armed Forces platforms that give them the opportunity to be the champions of their life they’re destined to be!

Check out these articles from world class medical and sports professionals showing study after study around BJJ improving the well-being of Armed Service members having PTSD.
